At Felocity, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our neighborhood members. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use our coordination platform.
1. Information Collection and Origin
We collect information necessary to facilitate neighborhood coordination and maintain community trust:
- Authentication Data: We utilize secure phone-based authentication to verify your identity within the neighborhood.
- Social Identity: Your display name, profile photograph, and self-described bio help neighbors identify you during coordinations.
- Approximate Location (Discovery Zones): We use your approximate location and postcode to find nearby deals and matches. We do not track your precise background GPS location unless you are actively coordinating a pickup or arrival.
- Transaction Records: We maintain a history of your participation in deals and matches to calculate your community Trust Score.
2. Data Utilization and Transparency
Your data is processed strictly for the following functional purposes:
- To facilitate P2P discovery of local deals, sport matches, and community activities.
- To calculate and manifest your neighborhood Reputation (Trust Score) based on successful coordinations. Reputation feedback is handled via a double-blind system to ensure honest, unbiased neighborhood ratings.
- To deliver critical real-time updates regarding the status of your joined activities via push notifications.
3. Controlled Information Sharing
Privacy is localized. We do not sell your personal information. Sharing is limited to active coordination partners:
- Specific Coordination: Detailed pickup locations and organizer notes are only revealed to neighbors who have formally committed to a specific deal or match.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our neighborhood members.
4. Data Integrity and Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information. We utilize Google Firebase for secure authentication, high-performance database hosting, and infrastructure support. All neighborhood registries utilize Firebase security protocols for authenticated data access and industry-standard encryption for data in transit.
5. Child Safety and Illegal Content
Felocity has a zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal content and the exploitation of minors. We are committed to maintaining a safe neighborhood environment:
- Prohibited Content: The creation, sharing, or promotion of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities.
- Safety Standards: We utilize automated filters and user-reporting tools to identify and remove harmful content. Users are encouraged to report any suspicious activity involving minors immediately via the in-app reporting tools or by contacting our safety team.
6. User Sovereignty and Account Erasure
You maintain full control over your neighborhood manifest:
- Profile Management: You may update your identity details at any time within the App settings.
- Account Erasure: You may delete your account at any time within the App settings. Deleting your account will immediately terminate your active coordinations and erase your current reputation status from the live registry. You may also request account erasure by emailing our support desk at support@felocity.app.
6. Policy Manifestation Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect evolving neighborhood standards. We will notify you of any significant changes via the App's notification handshake system.
